He is the Japanese record holder in the 100m freestyle (47.87 seconds).
A pioneer in the sprinting world, he was the first Japanese to break the 47-second mark in the 100m freestyle.
He represented Japan at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
In search of ultimate "speed" and "beauty".
Currently working as a professional swimmer, he continues to push the limits with his sights set on the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
